Why this course?
A nurse, LC or a doula is a caregiver who mothers the mother so that the mother can mother her infant. Doulas learn well how to care for the mother. But do the baby's needs conflict with the mother's needs? Are you hired by parents who tell you what they want, yet this is their first experience so they haven't a clue what they will really want or need? How do you deal with bad advice the mother often hears from others? Perhaps you are hired as an Infant Care Specialist and see the mother so busy during the day she is too tired to breastfeed the baby at night? Or a lactation consultant trying to help the baby to breastfeed only to hear the parents want to put the baby on a schedule? Be armed with the knowledge to help parents see the Baby's Perspective.

Kittie Frantz, RN, CPNP-PC shares her experience of over 45 years in the field of pediatrics and breastfeeding. No other course really looks at breastfeeding from the baby's perspective. Split into six 3 hour modules, with each module a minimum of 3 CEU's, the entire course is 18 CEU's, And now you can obtain the modules on DVD for self study at home and still earn CEU's. Watching the small class interact with Kittie makes you feel as if you're there.

How do I get started!
Taking this course is simple. You may order the DVD of the module you wish on its individual page for only $39.95. Those who wish CEU's will need to purchase along with the DVD the CEU's package for an additional $25.00.
Kittie Frantz is a provider approved by The California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider #CEP14457 and the course is approved for approximately 21 hours. IBCLE "L" Cerps are applied for. On each Module's page will be a link for the bibliography, outline evaluation forms and to take a post test. After completion of the test you will be mailed your certificate.
